It includes: determining the risk management process; identifying hazards; assessing risk; identifying unacceptable risk and potential actions; deciding on, implementing or facilitating of actions; reviewing the implementation of action; auditing the risk management process; and completing records and reports.
This unit is appropriate for those working in supervisory and risk management technical specialist roles within:
- Coal mining
- Metalliferous mining
CERTIFICATE ISSUE:
All competent students will receive a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the above unit of competency which forms partial completion of the RII40220 Certificate IV in Surface Coal Mining (Open Cut Examiner).
