Information

The TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for people to conduct assessment without supervision in the VET sector, in accordance with the Standards for RTOs. Please note if delivering training, supervision is still required for the facilitation aspect.

The TAESS00021 Facilitation Skill Set meets the minimum education requirement for individuals facilitating training under supervision in applicable VET legislation, frameworks and/or standards. This skill set is a successor to TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set.

 

Target group

These skill sets are for individuals who work under supervision to train others in the VET sector via a face-to-face and in-person delivery model. This course enables learners to obtain the assessment competencies to assess according to VET system requirements. This course relates to workplace assessors, RTO assessors, enterprise trainers, workshop and workplace facilitators.

  • TAEDES412 Design and develop plans for vocational training
  • TAEDEL411 Facilitate vocational training

 

TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set

Units included:

  • TAEDES411 Use nationally recognised training products to meet vocational training needs
  • TAEASS412 Assess competence
  • TAEASS413 Participate in assessment validation

 

Course Requirements

  • Computer with reliable internet access
  • Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (or compatible software)
  • Basic computer skills to navigate the Coal Train online learner portal
  • Participants will also be required to undertake an LLN quiz

Certificate issue
