TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set
This skill set is the minimum qualification required for those who facilitate and conduct work-skill instruction whilst delivering nationally recognised training under supervision in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

Blended delivery including online e-learning and one face to face cluster workshop.

Pre-course e-learning + three (3) day face to face workshop + post course online assignments.
Course information
Participants will gain understanding of regulatory and operational context of the VET industry. Participants will also learn how to demonstrate work skills to individuals and small groups
Target group
This skill set is for individuals who work under supervision to deliver training to others in the VET sector via a face-to-face and in-person delivery model.

- TAEPDD401 Work effectively in the VET sector
- TAEDEL311 Provide work skill instruction
Learners will obtain the skills and knowledge to:
- Work Effectively with learners in a vocational environment
- Organise and provide instruction to others
- Operate in the VET compliance framework
- Interpret VET policy
Course Requirements
- Computer with reliable internet access
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (or compatible software)
- Basic computer skills to navigate the Coal Train online learner portal
- Participants will also be required to undertake an LLN quiz
Certificate Issue
On successful completion of this course, competent participants will be issued a statement of attainment for TAESS00028 Work Skill Instructor Skill Set
