Full-Time Trainer and Assessor

Coal Train (RTO:32507) is a registered training organisation servicing the Central Queensland Bowen Basin as well as various sites across Australia.

Coal Train is seeking an experienced Full-Time Trainer and Assessor to join their team (Underground Mining Experience Necessary).

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Regular onsite training at various sites
  • Travel will be required for this position, locations include: Emerald, Blackwater, Middlemount, Moranbah

 

Key course Facilitation will be in the following courses

  • Mine Site Induction
  • Standard Upgrade
  • Underground Lifting and Slinging
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • Enter and work in confined spaces

 

Position Requirements :

  • Candidate must have experience in underground mining
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • TAE40110 Statement of Attainment or its successor or TAESS00003 – Enterprise trainer and assessor Skill Set (partial TAE) or its successor

Casual to Full Time Trainer Required

Coal Train is seeking a Casual to Full Time Trainer to join their team.

Approx. 3 – 4 days per week

Candidate must:

  • Hold the TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in training and Assessment
  • Have experience or a passion for working with disengaged youth
  • Hold a High School Diploma

 

Preferred candidate will hold:

  • Certificate III in Business

Technical Writer

Coal Train (RTO:32507) is a registered training organisation servicing the Central Queensland Bowen Basin as well as various sites across Australia.

Coal Train is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join their team.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Plan and develop site training and assessment packages, primarily within the resource sector.
  • Map site packages to relevant units of competency
  • Ensure a consistent format and approach to document creation and revisions.
  • Work closely with site personnel to ensure documentation is relevant, accurate, and delivers the required results.

 

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Preferred candidate will hold a TAE40110 or higher qualification
  • Preferred candidate will have mining experience, in particular Underground Coal Mining
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS office – Specifically word and excel
  • Strong attention to detail

Hospitality Trainer

Coal Train (RTO:32507) is a registered training organisation servicing the Central Queensland Bowen Basin as well as various sites across Australia.

Coal Train is seeking an experienced Hospitality Trainer to join their team.

Casual position with potential opportunity for a full time role

The position will entail training for workplace trainees and classroom delivery

Must have:

  • SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality or higher or have required units of competency for delivery
  • Current or recent Industry experience (minimum of three years)
  • At minimum hold the TAESS00015 Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Set
  • The ability to work within a team as well as autonomously

 

The preferred candidate will:

  • Hold the TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Have previous experience in training and assessing

Casual TAE Trainer

Coal Train is seeking an experienced Casual TAE Trainer to join their team.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a TAE40110 or its successor
  • Have extensive experience in training and assessing in Vocational Education and Training

 

Preferred Candidate will hold:

  • TAE50111/TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
  • TAE50211/TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development, or
  • a higher level qualification in adult education

Casual Graphic Designer required

Coal Train (RTO:32507) is a registered training organisation servicing the Central Queensland Bowen Basin as well as various sites across Australia.

Coal Train require the services of an experience Yeppoon based Graphic Design for a casual four-month project.

The project will require the collation of a large quantity of photography into well designed photo books.

The candidate will have:

  • A proven experience in graphic design
  • A good knowledge of Creative Cloud (Indesign and Photoshop)
  • Scanning, retouching and colour correction skills
  • Be based in the Yeppoon area
